Hey! No problem - feel free to ask questions! We know sometimes things don't quite seem as clear as we'd like them to be~

Henshin Rider is our version of a tokusatsu (special effects) show. They have a huge following in Asia (and Hawaii, for that matter). An example some might recognize off the bat is "Power Rangers" - do-gooders with special costumes and powers who battle all the evil forces in the world. Henshin Rider is somewhat based off of popular series as Kikaider and Kamen Rider. He works solo, has an arch-nemesis, and even has a daytime job. ^_^

Try looking up henshin on wikipedia for a little more background! :D

    Thanks for asking!

If you'd like to see some photos of Tokusatsu craziness in Hawaii, check out Generation Kikaida's Gallery Section and you'll see what we are talking about. Kids young and old flock to see the original 70's characters Kikaider (Kikaida) and KamenRider V3.

For more in-depth info on Kikaida in general and to get a feel for what Henshin Rider's TV show is kinda like visit:

I recall going to see Kikaider in the 70's as a kid and just being wowed. I don't recall the large crowds but from reports the kids were literally destroying the store in order to get a look at Kikaida!
