Flight 3 Released!
For those of you who just couldn't get enough of Flight 1 and 2, Flight 3 is finally here! What is Flight you ask? To me, Flight is a showcase for some of the finest independent and upcoming artists from all over the world who all do short stories or montages of some sort. To others, Flight is one hefty book of eye candy and creativity. I'm already looking forward to Flight 4!
Edited by Kazu Kibuishi of Bolt City (yeah I really dig Kazu's stuff!) Flight has grown since the first edition; not just in size but in content as well. All of the artists featured have amazing story telling and graphic ability. If you'd like a sneak peak at what I'm talking about take a look at Flight 3 Preview. Pictures are much better than words!
Ever since Kitsy and I laid eyes on Flight, we've both strived to get to the level of the story tellers and artists in that book. We hope one day to be invited to do something for Flight... In fact as you can see above Nemu and Anpan are pretty determined! Which reminds me: part of my goal is to get back into drawing (aside from all the inking and backgrounds for nemu-nemu which don't really count) so Kitsy has asked me to do a little drawing or photo for each post I make. I guess that's one way to get me to use my tools and sketchbook a bit more often. I'll do my best to draw something for myself each day... because man am I rusty!
