Carmine Infantino, a famous comic book artist most recognized for his work on "The Flash" and "Strange Adventures", often used multiple images along with speed lines to depict fast movement.
Count me in as a big Carmine Infantino fan. I miss those days when he did the Flash. That style was very distinctive!
