  Hint: The key to this particular strip is in the title. ^_^

  I think most people's reaction to poi is very similar to Anise and Nemu's. Poi is actually very healthy in its base form - being pounded taro root and water. However, to get kids like me to eat it, my family put a sugar bowl on the table so we could sprinkle it on top. I like to eat it like a creme brulee, but most mix it in.

  My dad likes to eat it with lomi lomi salmon (a.k.a. lomi lomi tomato, as the salmon is all but disintegrated) or mixed with his laulau... but maybe that's better saved for another story. XD

  I live in Honolulu Downtown and my dad ALWAYS gives me poi with Ahi fish. It tasted funny the first time too, then I got used to it.
