    When I was about 5 or 6, I remember wanting to try making my own peanut butter, much like the boys are doing in the comic strip. I didn't have any whole peanuts so I used a jar of Planters dry roasted peanuts and a stick of butter I found in the fridge.

    After a few minutes of mixing it up... I wondered what I had done wrong. I starteed to mash the peanuts but still... no peanut butter.. just peanuts and butter.

    My grandmother was not amused.

Webcomic Transcription

Inventing Peanut Butter

Panel 1: Anpan walks in on Nemu who is sadly sitting next to the open empty peanut butter jar.
Anpan: Oh- Nemu out of peanut butter?
Nemu: Uh - huh ~

Panel 2: Apan thinks of an idea and calls Nemu to action!
Anpan: How hard ish it to make peanut butter? Gots peanut?
Nemu: Yup! Gots butter!

Panel 3: Anpan throws peanuts into a bowl as Nemu stirs them into the butter.
Anpan: Mix 'em up! Mix 'em up!

Panel 4: Anpan and Nemu look into the bowl and wonder whats wrong.
Nemu: ...Shometing wrong...
Anpan: Keep Shtirring!
