I'm a little under the weather, but holding up okay with my endless supply of water, herbal tea, Sudafed and Tylenol. It's already the middle of February (this is a short month! EE!) and I have so much work left to do!
Today's draft is, again, from the interior pages of our second volume of nemu*nemu. This was sketched and inked digitally in Photoshop. With this growing sense of accomplishment, I might even venture into Painter ...again. XD;
For the longest time, I've had this weird love-hate relationship with Painter. I love what people can do with it. I hate trying to figure out what all the uku-billion tools do. However, the natural looking line and brush quality isn't quite matched in Photoshop, yet. I can muster up some sketchy doodles and rough paintings, but not quite the looks I hope for.
So I post a question for the artists out there - can anyone suggest a Painter tutorial or two? :D I have Version X... but most tools remain the same throughout the different versions...
Back to work for me, but before I go!
Our latest comic is UP at East Oahu Sun! Love is in the Air~ I can feel it!
