Happy Monday everyone! For those in the U.S. ,"Happy Presidents' Day!"

Lately, my big thing has been listening to podcasts via iTunes while I work. KS introduced me to them about 2 years ago and I've only really started partaking in the phenomenon recently.

Here's my MUST LISTEN TO list:

  1. Art & Story by Mark Rudolph and Jerzy Drozd - [audio only] If the names are familiar, they should be! Jerzy and Mark, long-time friends and comic artists extraordinaire team up weekly for very insightful and educational look at the very basics of comic creation. If you've ever wanted to create your own comic and wanted to know why comic artists do things they way they do, this is a great place to start.

Incidentally, they are also starting up a LIVE open recording Februrary 18, 2008, 5pm EST at! KS and I are planning on crashing the party, so if you, too, would like to participate (the more the merrier!), learn more from the Art & Story Website!

  3. Webcomics Weekly - [audio only] This is an podcast collaboration between Scott Kurtz, Brad Guigar, Dave Kellett, Kris Straub of They're all Giants of the webcomics world and they've teamed up to share some of their own tips and tricks, amidst their jabs at humor and each other. They've also had some guests like Danielle Corsetto and Steve Hamaker on their past shows.

  4. Grammar Girl and the rest of the "Quick & Dirty site - [audio only] Who doesn't have the occasional question about grammar? Even me - who taught English in Japan - could use a few refresher tips! They're short and sweet, and always very helpful!

Of course, I'm a big fan of the Anpan & Nemu Show, which mysteriously pops up on our site from time to time~! ^_-

If you have any podcasts you listen to regularly, feel free to plug them here in a comment or e-mail us about them! :D
