Happy Girls' Day 2008!

Happy Girls' Day, everyone!

Hinamatsuri is my favorite of Japan's "holidays". It's right around springtime when all the flowers are in bloom and families bring out all their dolls in glass cases for display. All of my favorite traditional snacks are usually on sale at this time too: chichi dango/mochi, arare and compeito~! Mmm~
