Fanime 2008 - Day 1
Hey all!
We have survived our first day at Fanime and it feels great to be back in the hotel room with comp internet!
KS and I had to check out of our previous hotel as they didn't have rooms available for the duration of our stay, so we moved over this morning before heading out to search for groceries and an early lunch. We've really been enjoying the area - nice and clean, lots of yummy eateries in walking distance, and cool and somewhat breezy!
Day 1 has been expectedly slow, with students coming in later due to finals and graduation, while others have been held due to work. Regardless, we had a steady stream of curious onlookers to our table. KS and I handed out lots of fliers and cards - we hope to see some of them pop onto our site later! ^_^
We're definitely looking forward to a busy Saturday and Sunday! Be back later with more news to report! :D
