Anime Expo, the West Coast's largest anime convention is being held this Independence Day weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center. I first attended back in early 2000 when it was still being held in hotels. Boy, how things have changed!
We won't be attending this year, but if you're looking for any of our goods, you might want to stop by the vuduberi booth in the dealer's room! Pat was kind enough to take some of our inventory after Fanime to host in her space. She'll have a very limited amount of shirts, books, and even pups for sale. But also be sure to check out their goods! Pat, Saka, CP, and FSc are all extraordinary artists and you'll be blown away by their combined talents! Look for them at Booth #732!
I'm a little sad we won't be attending this year - Akemi Takada, illustrator for series like Kimagure Orange Road, Creamy Mami, and Patlabor, will be back after many years absence as a Guest of Honor. One year, they had her original works on display and it was such an amazing experience to see them up-close. *___* She's one of my early artistic influences and still remains one of my favorites to this day!
Maybe next year...
