Wednesday Notebook Sketch

Just a scanned page out of my quad composition book!

DailySketch2008-010.jpg

I not only use this book for story notes, but I carry it around as my backup doodlebook. Sometimes I get story and project ideas from these rough sketches. I try not to get too "precious" about the work and keep them loose and fresh.

I hope you find them entertaining. XD

Liking the new look, with the softer colors and the line-free art. Seems to be a pretty big change of direction, art-wise, though...any reason to go in this direction, or are you just experimenting with the look of the comic?

Much thanks!

Interestingly enough, I've been getting a lot of positive feedback about this new style. It's not permanent - it's a stylistic change just for the current chapter. Nemu's stories are very simple, almost childish and day-dream - so I wanted to draw them in a way that would best represent his outlook on the world.

I have to admit, it's a lot of fun to color in this style! I'll probably have more intervals like this in future chapters. :D
