Death Note II Movie Tickets Raffle!
Hey folks!
We've just been offered the chance to raffle two (2) Death Note II movie tickets to US residents through Fathom Entertainment and VIZ pictures!
For those who are familiar with the manga and anime series, this a dubbed LIVE ACTION movie that will be shown only in theaters on October 15th & 16th, 7:30pm local time.
Here's a short synopsis of the movie:
"Written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, DEATH NOTE II: THE LAST NAME is a sequel to DEATH NOTE as Light Yagami joins the investigation team in pursuit of the serial killer known as "Kira." While L still strongly suspects that Light is "Kira," Light Yagami continues to seek out the real name of L so he can kill him with his Death Note. Making things even more unpredictable are the "Eyes of Death," given to the second Kira, enabling the owner to know the true identity and lifespan of any person. Adding further confusion, a new rash of murders attributed to the Death Note occurs all over the world and is attributed to "the Second Kira." Light Yagami learns the identity of the other Kira and wants to join forces to get rid of L. Will L be able to catch "Kira" before he gets killed? Who will be the last name written in the Death Note book?"

My boyfriend and I went to the last one. Unfortunately the theater was dominated by loud Wapanese dressed up like the characters and failing at speaking the Japanese language. Someone actually had to tell them to shut up.

Oh my god, they dubbed it?
I've already seen the movie (in Japanese) and I must say, the anime is way better... Also, why do they dubb it? It's sooo much beter when they speak in the original language (aka Japanese).
Anyhow, nice that you can do this kind of actions but sadly, I live in Europe so it won't do me any good :p
