Not So Perfect
Panel 1: A toothbrush with toothpaste on it.
Anise: Toothpaste
Panel 2: A piece of pie with whipped cream on the top.
Anise: Whipped Cream
Panel 3: A hand with some hair foam on it.
Anise: Hair Foam
Panel 4: A baked potato with sour cream in it.
Anise: Even Sour Cream!
Panel 5: Anise is filling her cup with self-server fro yo!
Anise: Perfectly spun ribbons of cream! That's the whole fun of self-serve fro-yo!
Panel 6: Anise looks into her cup and realizes what a mess she's made.
Anise: It sure is harder than it looks... Ugh. I ruined it.

I had a friend who worked for McDonalds and he's like the only person who can make the perfect ice cream swirl from the self-serve yogurt thingy in our dining hall haha.
Hope you're enjoying CA V^_^
I was wondering what fro-yo was? Now seeing this strip, I immediately realized what it means. Frozen Yogurt--should of known. Quite yummy.
darn, someone took the name konachan.....>__> anyways, i love the comic! I understand ani's expression....I went to YogurtLand (yummy place ^___^) and tried to make a nice bowl of forzen yogurt, but it looked really off.........
Yes, much harder than it looks indeed.
omg i miss yogurtland.... :(
this is based off yogurt land huh? just went there a couple days ago. its so yummy :)
i was wondering what fro yo was. lol. FROzen YOgurt ofcourse :)
You have to remember to A do the press down or have the object swirling in the opposite direction.
Sadly there are nearly no frozen yogurt shops in germany :(
*laugh* I always make a mess of it myself whenever there's any kind of self-serve soft serve (try saying THAT three times fast!)
I am a new and huge fan of nemu nemu! My question is, did you take art class to learn how to draw them?
To all: Sorry about the ambiguity about Fro-Yo! I sort of assumed that most people knew what it was. ^_^; But indeed, it's frozen yogurt. (Yum!)
Michelle: Thanks! I took a lot of art classes throughout school and college to learn art techniques and basics. But nemu*nemu is a little different. When I started in 2005, I was just getting to know the character. The more comfortable I felt with them, the more they evolved in style and feel.
But all the basic art principles still apply~ :D I think most people should take some form of art class to learn about the various tricks and techniques, but style is something that you form on your own~ :D
It's harder than it looks, indeed. Now I wish I had some fro-yo.
Woooow...it took me a while to figure out how to get that into my cup nicely. I also learned that if you hit the cup/smack it down, you can fit MORE into it! Just make sure you keep in mind how much you spend! Which is why I do that when I get to the toppings. ;)
It's been ages since I worked at Dairy Queen, but I can STILL do the little swirl on the top, whether with frozen yogurt or regular ol' ice cream... The weird bit is that I can only do it left-handed. I'm right-handed, but was taught by someone who was left-handed, so I ended up having to hold the cup in my left hand to do it right...so to speak. ^_^
*SPLECCH*
D: Oh noes! The fro-yo!
I L.O.V.E Nemu-nemu but do you think you could like give us an example of how to draw them?
I think Audra will do something like that soon.
That's great !!! Can't wait... THE BATTALION OF NEMU-NEMU FANSH AWAITSH.
