A Thousand Words
Panel 1: Nemu holds a colored marker in his paw as Anpan looks on.
Anpan: What Nemu doin'?
Panel 2: Nemu quickly lifts his marker off the paper!
Nemu: Drawin' pictures so Kana Mama wins da votes!
Panel 3: Nemu looks at his creation as he talks to Anpan.
Nemu: Kana Mama always say- A picture say a thousand words!
Panel 4:Anpan and Nemu look at the many drawings Nemu has made of Kana Mama and the things she has taught him.
Nemu: Kana Mama does tons of great shtuff for Nemu all da time~ Nemu gotta tell everybody! But... Nemu cannot write.
Panel 5: Nemu and Anpan are discouraged because of their inabilities in certain things...
Nemu: And Nemu cannot even count to a thousand!
Anpan: Anpan too!
Panel 6: But Nemu always sees the brighter side of things! Nemu's enthusiasm is contagious and Anpan catches it!
Nemu: But drawin' ish fun!
Anpan: Anpan help!
Panel 7: Kana watches from behind the doorway as the two pup pals cheer each other on!
Anpan: Good job Nemu! High paw!
Nemu: High paw!

We have a special comic today - one of our few "weekend specials". It's
been a while since we had our last one.
This particular one is dedicated to my grandma who passed away on
Thursday morning~
We all do our parts to keep the memory of those we care about alive, to
show that we care. My contribution is drawing pictures, which is both
fun and meaningful to me. ^_^ I can only hope a few pictures can sum up
all the great things my grandma did for me, which just can't quite be
expressed in mere words.
This is one of my favorites so far! It was great to finally meet you guys in person this morning at the Priory Holiday Fair! I was too starstruck and ended up tongue-tied, so keep us posted on the next appearance! :)

and just wanted to say, the meaning in your drawings definitely shines through, kyu. what a great tribute to your grandmother. sending condolences, good thoughts and well-wishes.

I saw you guys at the Priory Holiday Fair, and I must say, it was exciting to meet you two! I bought the two pup plushies, a couple of pins, and Pup Fiction. By the way, thanks for drawing Anpan in my book! :D A few of my friends also saw your booth and they bought several things as well. :D

I love this comic, and I was so happy when my momma bought me this print. It hangs in cabinet so when I open it up I see this heartwarming comic, as well as thinking of my family back home (I'm going to school out-of-state). This comic just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy in general. :D
