[Event] Free Comic Book Day! Signing @ Collector Maniacs

0 Ish Good!

If you've read through our second volume of nemu*nemu, you might recognize the name "Collector Maniacs".

Yes - It's a real comic book shop up the street from our neighborhood and we make it a point to visit every Wednesday for what we call affectionately call "manga day", when the shipments come in. We love frequenting this shop for it's overall cramped mess coziness and nice 25% discount on all incoming titles. The owner's got a great sense of humor and he's also awesome enough to sell some of our merchandise. Yay!

So! Which brings me to the event~ :D

We'll be at Collector Maniacs [MAP!] from 10am to 12 noon on Saturday, May 2nd for our book signing~ If you haven't picked up our third volume or second artbook, this would be a great opportunity to do so~ :D I'll also be doing a limited number of free sketchcards - mention this blog post and I'll draw something for you~ :D

I won't be bringing the shirts or totes this time. However, if you're interested in one, either contact me prior to Saturday with your request OR come and see us at the Kodomo no Hi event at the JCCH HQ on Sunday! We will have stickers and pins on hand - and a bunch of Pollo plushies as well~ :D Pups will also be available for pre-order at this time.

Read on for more information about the Free Comic Book Day event and all the local stops on Oahu and the Big Island!

freecomicdaylogo.gifFree Comic Book Day is scheduled on May 2nd at a variety of participating libraries and comic book shops throughout the US. The event is just as the name sound - free comics! The catch is one per customer at each participating location, but it's a great opportunity to get reacquainted with old series, learn about some new ones, or just plain get something awesome to read on a Saturday morning!

For more info on local events, check out Jason Yadao's article at the Star Bulletin or find out everything you'd like to know about the event at the official website - including some of the titles to be released!
