    For a number of my class photos, I was told to take off my glasses because their umbrellas would be reflected in my glasses. ^^;

  Kana so cute without the glasses! She should wear contacts or something... but then she's still a kid. Just eat lots of carrots or something! haha :D

  i have to say she looks cuter with the glasses and still nice without them.. poor Kana, i wear glasses but only for school so i can see the chalkboard.. not that severe..

  did I miss some reason Kana can't wear contacts? she's acting like she'd never ever be able to stop wearing glasses. A lot of the people I know who would be wearing super thick lenses opted for contacts, probably for style reasons.

  I had to wear glasses in grade school and still do. Contacts were never an option. And for others, various reasons. I can attest to Kana's experiences and worries. Excellent strip. Have a great day everyone.

  One night the fire alarm went off and my friend had to leave her dorm room without her glasses. It was terrifying for her. Poor Kana!

    I can SO relate! The loosened hinge screw on my previous pair of glasses fell off and couldn't be found or replaced immediately (screw was a different size from the ones in repair kits) so I was walking around blind until I could back get home and put on my old pair of glasses. >_

  @all: Thanks for all the input! As a "chronic" glasses-wearer (like Kana), I definitely don't feel alone here. ^^

  OMP, I feel the same way with those 3D Glasses! I'm not that blind-ish though. I always loved glasses more then contacts becuase there's a lot of amazingly fashionable and pretty glasses to choose from so every year when I get new glasses, I love to look through all the different types!

  I don't take off my glasses for class photos, but it's a pain wearing glasses for gym class. After you run, the arms are all sweaty and...ugh. @_@ I even fell while running the mile and my I thought my glasses were going to shatter and I was going to get it in my eye. DX Instead, they scratched (big time) and the arm was displaced and it had to be like that until the weekend--it was Monday. -.o But the good thing about glasses is that if you're watching a scary movie, you can take them off during the scary parts and all you see are blunt outlines. 8D ...If you're wondering what happened to my glasses since then, I got a new pair. 8D

  Poor Kana!!! I used to wear glasses, and had like the same problems... but now I wear contact lenses! Another problem is that your glasses will fog up if you are eating soup, or something hot that has steam, and you need to clean them all the time... Another reason Kana might not wear contacts is because far sided people can't wear contacts, and if your eye sight is really, really, really bad, you can't wear contacts... (sob) :(

  Poor, poor Kana.... -Waves a magick wand over her eyes- Presto! You're eyes are 20/20 darling! ...On another note, my Mom's exactly like our poor, plighted heroine. As a child one morning, to wake her up I pulled up the blinds really fast. She opened her eyes, stared out the window and said, "Oh my, the sun looks so pretty coming over the mountains!" I looked out the window and my eye twitched, "Mom, those are houses... Not mountains..." "Well, they look like mountains and so they're staying mountains until I get my eyes on." After saying which, she promptly turned over and went back to sleep.
