Kana: Don't pick me! I'm no good at catching!
Team 1: Okay, I choose Denny!
Denny: Alright!
panel 2: Kana's classmates each get chosen one...
Kana: Whew~ I'm no good at hitting either!
Team 2: I choose Claire.
Clair: Yay! I'm on the GOOD team!
panel 3: by one... except Kana.
Team 1: Well... alright. We'll take Bud...
Bud: It's about time. Sheesh.
Kana: B-but I don't wanna be picked last!

Aw, poor Kana, I can totally relate, since I was usually picked last, too! This story arc is really bringing back a lot of childhood memories!
Me too. I was picked last all the time in school also and that was so sad. In a art contest in elementary school in the 1970's I finished...yup you guessed it..dead last.

Being deaf I had to watch each picker carefully to be sure I didn't miss being called out. :P It was stressful -- but got better when everyone signed! :D
I was picked last a lot.. but I didn't want to get picked, I dislike sports! :D
I sure hope she gets on the same team as Anise...though it would be interesting if they were on opposite sides!
Happened to me all the time!... And it sucked, even though I wasn't such a big sports fan.

This is random, but why do all of the other kids have American-ish names? Only Kana and Anise (Kurobu) have a Japanese name... (besides the pups)
