Ramen,or which is called saimin in Hawaii, Taste sooooooooo yummy! When I was 5 or 4,I never spoke before,I felt scard eating fish cake because I thought it had a "seceret" camera!
Ramen is good, but I am from the US so I have not had the real thing. I would like to try it at some point, but not if I'm going to get the evil eye on me!
If the ramen you've had is the same dry thing they sell over here in Puerto Rico I dun like it. My roommate goes everyday to Walgreens to buy some, he survives on those things...I'd like to try the real thing but at least the one whose brand is Maruchan isn't good...IMHO. On a slightly related note, I LOVE Nemu!!!!
The instant varieties usually have the fishcake inside, but I can't recall if the "real deals" have them inside. Usually they're found in lighter broth-type noodle dishes like udon or soba.
Hawaii has a special noodle dish we call "saimin" which has the ramen-type noodles with a thinner udon-type broth with veggies, spam, and fishcake as toppings. ^^
Yeah, I never liked eating naruto or any of that other stuff on top of the ramen. Ooh! But I love inari <3

I always wondered why the naruto is spiraled. Is it confused? O.o
XD I'm guessing that the naruto design on the fishcake is supposed to give the impression of churning waters like a whirlpool. :D

*drool* This just got me thinking of the greatest ramen place in the mall. The fishcake is so chewy along with the octopus. They also have amazing sushi! Last time the rolls were wrapped in scales of avacado with salmon, roe, and a little urchin called a dragon-maki... I want fish...
