It's November and I'm sure you'll already seeing Christmas decorations and hearing Christmas music. I know we are!

And although it's the beginning of the holiday season, it's also the tail end of the hurricane season here in the middle of the Pacific.

It's been a rough year for many countries across the South Pacific -- thankfully, Hawaii has been relatively spared. So I just wanted to shed some light to the plights in the Philippines, American Samoa, Samoa, and more recently, Indonesia.

Relief efforts are still taking part locally and a lot of work is still being done. Media coverage over the past month and a half has really waned, but many problems still exist. From what I understand, the Philippines were just hit for the 4th time this year in a few months time.
