panel 1: Anise is looking through a book while Kana turns to her to reminder her...
Kana: Did you do the reading assignment for our literature class? There might be a quiz.
Anise: Oh that? Yup. Finished it last week.
panel 2: Kana can't believe her ears. She turns around in her seat.
Kana: W-won. I can't believe it! YOU read the whole book ALREADY?!
panel 3: How did Anise do it?!
Anise: Hey, I'm smarter than you think. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve.
Kana: Like...?
panel 4: Anise tells Kana her secret!
Anise: It was easy. I read the first, middle and last chapters! All done!
Kana: Wait- wha?!

A flawless plan until the finer details are required. xD
Lolz!!!
I am juuust like her! I did that for the majority of my reading assignments in College and got away with it!
oh, Anise...
Ha. I would always not want to read the book for a project, so I'd put it off until last minute...
Then I'd want to get a good grade, and I'd stay up all night reading...
Ha, I wish I could be that, all my tests seem to be about the little details... (Another "What- Wha?" I know its a pattern now! )
An old trick to read books quickly is to read the first and last sentences of every paragraph. It's really great for British authors like Heller because their paragraphs occasionally span several pages. xD
It only works until you have to do a book report on "War and Peace" or summarize Proust...
(And if you get that second one, silly-walk yourself over to the cupboard and give yourself a cookie. ;-) )
i totally did that for my eng lit test
OMP! Ido that to and on the test I get a C on my quize.
Haha, these 'Wait-wha' strips are cracking me up!
i got a better idea... *whisper* go watch the movie ani...
i did that with my report about the Color Purple....
I want to do that whenever I have to read a really long and boring book for English... -.-
