Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday
Panel 1:
Kana is looking through a newspaper.
Kana: Did you want to look through the Black Friday ads?
Anise: (pointing to herself) Who me? Nope!
Panel 2:
Anise looks confident.
Anise 1: Black Friday is for DWEEBS!
Anise 2: IT'S ALL ABOUT MONDAY!
Panel 3:
Kana turns to look at Anise.
Kana: Monday?
Anise: Heh. Haven't you heard?

Anise is cheering on Saiba Monday.
Anise: IT'S SAIBA MONDAY!
Kana: Um. Isn't that supposed to be "cyber"...?
Saiba: Supah Saiba Supreme is up to the challenge!

SFX: Double Cut!
Anise: Saiba doesn't need to stand in line like Black Friday!

This strip probably belongs in the off continuity site since there mostly likely isn't a Black Friday in Japan(Nemu*Nemu is still taking place in Japan, right?) because there isn't a Thanksgiving holiday there to give people a starting time for their Christmas shopping.
It's never clearly stated where they are~ The way I built the nemu*nemu world is that it's heavily based on places I've been, seen, and experienced - all mashed together. The only connection to the "real world" is that Kana and Nemu visited Hawaii and the celebrated holidays.
Although, this particular strip isn't part of the current chapter, so to speak -- it's a special strip drawn just for today.
ha, I spent two hours outside in line at Best Buy, and about two hours at Target on Black Friday.
And my husband won't let me shop online after what happened the last time I did... -.-;;
ok, you got me: WHAT happened the last time you shopped online...?!
Ahhh~ It wasn't too bad, I just got kinda addicted and didn't leave the house for a week... ^.^
And I sorta spent a lot of money...
For major Black Friday shopping (I'm talking dozens of shopping bags and a laptop and flatscreen thrown in) you'd probably also need a credit card, so does Black Friday really win this battle?
But then again, Saiba Monday usually has shipping fees...
