F.A.Q. For Santa #2
panel 1: Anise is writing a letter...
Anise: Dear Santa, You must already know what I want for Christmas.
panel 2: to Santa!
Anise: But how do you make all the cool toys in such a short time? Sincerely, Anise.
panel 3: Anise pauses to think about her question to Santa...
panel 4: And realizes something!
Anise: Maybe I should set aside some cookies for those hard workin' elves...

That handwriting is very..interesting, especially for a person like Anise.
= )
It surprised me as well! I thought for sure Kana's handwriting would be cursive and Anise's would be scrawl! But I've been pleasantly surprised. Guess you can't judge a book by it's cover. Or erum... Personality? :P
Lol!!! Go Santa and elves!!!
Yeah, it's the elves whodo all the hard work. Ever try to make a GameBoy out of wood?
Actually, from what i've heard (and don't quote me on this, it's from an unofficial, non-confirmed source), only a small amount of the toys manufactured by Santa Claus's factory and his elves are handmade, these days. They are mostly custom work orders compiled into Santa's database.
Otherwise, the majority of christmas presents these days, seem to be the result of Santa's equally hard working lawyer elves securing all the lucrative licensing deals that allow him to distribute the free name-brand gifts from all the major companies, including video games, toy companies, and entertainment outlets.
In effect, the agreement between Santa and the licensees state that they receive a cut of the profits of all Santa related merchandise and likenesses (decorations, tv specials, wall hangings, and thins featuring Santa), as well as the free gifts boosting the economy of said company for the year to come.
It's the agreement that allows all parties to prosper, Santa to continue his yearly rounds with continued funding, the good boys and girls who receive the gifts on their list, and the companies who benefit from the economic boost around the holidays. ^_^
At least, this is how it works to the best of my understanding.
That's pretty epic, but it might have some truth behind it...
Wow Karma thats very interesting....XD
Anise, that was very considerate. I was both expecting this response to Santa and yet..these letters say alot about the characters, adds depth. Plus its cute.lol
My favorite part is when she's balancing the pencil on her lip. :)
Lucky Star Reference FTW!
When I was little, my brother and I would always put out carrots for the reindeer~ and red hots, but those were never eaten... XD
Slave labor never was more adorable...
Now I want to play Harvest Moon and make my fairies work! >:D
Hmm, when I was little we'd leave cookies and milk for Santa then veggies for the reindeer- I never thought about those elves...
Cute!! I always set aside a plate cookies for Santa and plate of candy for the elves!
Maybe Anise needs to sprinkle some oats for the reindeer! >_<
I agree with Crystal... XD
Tee hee i always do the pencil moustache thing!!!
Ani's so generous!
