  Trying to remember how Kikaida, 01, V3, etc. managed to transform, because I don't remember them ducking into phone booths or into alleys when the time came. Don't think jumping into the air counts as concealment, unless everyone has stiff necks and can't look up.

  In case anyone is wondering: the word Henshin is Japanese for "to transform".

  Many of my favorite Japanese live-action TV shows from my youth had a "henshin" that transformed the main character from a human to a costumed hero.

  Kikaider was my favorite, but Kamen Rider V3 is where I first learned about the Henshin! See some classic Henshin here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVV10XBO1Aw

    in part 2 of those collected transformations, one guy did his henshin in the middle of a crowded concert hall, for some reason...

  Aah, I just realised why Anise sounded so familiar. As in her name. It's like the Star anise! You know, that spice.. It took me so long to realise that!

  I'm waiting for "Cast On!" or whatever the phrase was. You know, where a hundred armor pieces would coalesce from off-camera onto the Rider. Almost as much fun as "Clock up!" (bullet-time goes here) "Clock Over."
