    This actually happened to me for my AP US History class.
    We were so far behind on the curriculum that we didn't get to all the topics that needed to be covered by year's end... and the entire exam was on that section we missed. DX;;;

      .....Shouldn't the instructors revise exams in those instances?! Kinda unfair...

        aren't the AP exam papers set the same nationwide? or at least statewide? like the SATs? although it does seem a bit unbalanced for it to be mostly on the end part, unless the people who wrote the test thought they'd be helpful and focus on the bits you would have learned recently, since you might have forgotten stuff from the beginning of the year?

  Happened to me once as well for a phlebotomy license test. Studied the whole book. The test was based 80% around a study guide you had to BUY extra.

  Took two failed attempts before I figured that out. XD
