Numbers Mean Nothing
panel 1: Anise gets set to leave the booth and go find some friends!
Anise: Be right back! Gonna say hi to people. I got all their booth numbers written down.
Kana: Don't forget your phone.
Anise: Txt ya when I find 'em!
panel 2: She pushes her way through crowds...
Anise: Urgh... Crowd...
panel 3: But discovers that she can't find any booths because they have no numbers!
Anise: OMP. Where r they?? Booth#s r gone!!!
panel 4: She returns defeated.
Kana: How'd it go?
Anise: ...







This is /exactly/ what had happened to me at sdcc this year. If it wasn't from the giant displays and/or sheer luck I would have been screwed. ^^;
Indeed. D: I think giving landmarks (i.e. relation to the giant industry booths) would probably make for better directions. You seriously can't miss those! XD
I've missed people at a convention because we'd be on totally different schedules. Rarely have problems finding booths at small cons.
Used to be the guy that wanted to do EVERYTHING at a convention. Even back in the late '90s when I last was at SDCC that was pretty much improssible. At best I think I visited 1/4 of the booths I wanted to that year.
This happened to my friend and I at ACEN! We were trying to find a certain artist's booth, but between the two of us we don't have much common sense or sense of direction, so we ended up having a third friend show us where. XD
All the gray people in panel 2 and 3 are bald..... Strange.
