[LootAnime!] Open the MUSIC box!
I'm back with another unboxing of Loot Anime's latest crate: MUSIC!
With a theme like "MUSIC," you're bound to get Vocaloid gear, and this box did not disappoint. In fact, the goodies inside were things I certainly wasn't expecting!

Now, onto the contents of the MUSIC box!
★ Vocaloid x tokidoki Lanyard
First up - this strap was peeking out of my box when it arrived - somewhat like my Fairy Tail scarf a few boxes back! Color me surprised that tokidoki has collaborated with Vocaloid! It was certainly only a matter of time, and the results are really cute - as expected!
The strap is wider than most, with a nice satin finish. Add it to your convention badge strap collection, or even wear your next con badge on it - it'll certainly be noticed!
★ Leek Plush
This was an unexpected find~ Vocaloid folk know that Miku Hatsune has an affinity for "negi" or Japanese leeks. (These things are hella expensive at the grocer.. but they're awesome grilled and in Japanese brothy soups!) It's really cute, but supposedly it lights up too? There's a small thing inserted into the green part of the leek that you can press - but I haven't gotten mine to work.
Another accessory to wear with pride at your next idol concert/event. :D
★ Miku Travel Blanket
I'm not sure I would call this a "blanket," but it's a nicely printed lightweight fleece cover-up. It's pretty thin, so it'll pack down nicely into a bag. It's the perfect size for a lap blanket, a shawl, or even a flashy cape or makeshift wall tapestry. :D
I don't recommend running this thru the wash though - the print quality and fabric texture may deteriorate!
★ Hypersonic Music Club T-shirt
Ok - I had to look this one up because I have no idea what this was!
HYPERSONIC Music Club is a webcomic by Hiroyuki Takahashi that's exclusively published on Crunchyroll.
It's flashy, colorful, and bombastic with a variety of fantastic character design. If Harajuku pop-punk is your thing, check it out! :D
Too bad the shirt doesn't show off the colorfulness of this comic! It's an awesome design though!
★ Show By Rock Earbuds
Ever have problems with your earbud cords tangling and wiggling all over the place? These Show by Rock earbuds are not only stylish with it's red and black coloring, but the winding mechanism has the Shingan Crimsonz in their cute animal forms. :3
★ Your Lie in April vol 1 (Exclusive Cover)
If you haven't checked out this series, I highly recommend that you do! The anime is absolutely beautiful and the music is moving. The manga is just as gorgeously done and this exclusive cover is a wonderful touch!
As an artist, I can empathize with Kousei and his journey back to music. The series has completed, so no hand-wringing to wait for the next installments!
★ Loot Anime Music Charm
Have I mentioned that I really look forward to these? :D This month, they've done something extra special! Download Loot Crate's "Word Gush" game on iOS or Android and scan the charm to download the accompanying anime deck and soundtrack.
The app itself is one of those "Guess who/what I am" by putting the phone to your forehead and it pulls up a random card for everyone else to see. It's a little corny, but could be a lot of fun for parties.
★ MUSIC catalog & Poster
This month's amazing poster is by Canadian artist, Hanh Chu also known as Rokudo-Aurora on dA~
I guess they're sticking to this "comic" style layout with a cropped panel on the top and/or bottom. I like the dynamic look each of the posters have had so far~
That concludes the unboxing/review of the May Music box! From what I gather, the next box is "UNITY - Which I assume means something along the lines of teamwork. Dragon Ball Z and Full Metal Alchemist are supposedly a part of the line up.
