#9 My New Pen
So, remember I spent hours agonizing over what pens to order?
Well, that order just arrived today! Included in my order is a 3oz bottle of Noodler's Ink in Polar Black, Kuretake Hikkei Sign Brush Pens with Twin point (an extra pen for reserve), a Pilot CON-50 converter, and a Pilot Prera Fountain Pen with Fine Point.
This is actually my second fountain pen. The first is a Pilot Cavalier. I purchased it late last year. It's a nice pen, but due to the metal body, it's kinda heavy for a longer drawing session.
I was sold on the Pilot Prera after reading numerous reviews on the quality and reliability of the pen. I also did some research on various inks and found that Noodler's was a brand that got a number of thumbs up for durability. (Thus saving my cartridges for my Cavalier pen~!)
After figuring out how to fill up the convertor, I gave it a test run at dinner and on the car-ride through traffic to Costco. I give it two big thumbs up~! It draws like a flexible multi-liner. Just what I was looking for!
In fact, today's one-off comic is drawn entirely with the Pilot Prera~!
BTW~ I purchase my pens from JetPens, my favorite online shop for most of my pen needs~ :D

I love it. I think I feel guilty some of my pens are not getting as much use as they should, as well as my sketchbooks.
