#11 Shampoo
I'm back to using my brush pens -- just so I don't get too comfortable with my new fountain pen... ^^; (Admittedly, I've been carrying it around with me in my bag and doing sketches when we eat out. I wonder if I can carry it with me on the airplane next month?)
Anyhoo, today's strip.
I have a large variety of shampoos and conditioners - mostly from the years I'd regularly get my hair professionally colored. (I haven't done my own coloring since 2004. I found that using the same color does not equal same color hair -- especially when the product contains bleach... which is how my hair eventually turned to a bright-ish orangey blonde... if you can imagine that.)
Over the past two years, I've cut back on my trips to my hair stylist to save money, often opting to go right before I have any events or trips. I figured that since my hair wasn't being treated as often, I could probably opt to go back to less-expensive hair products. (Well, they're still not run-of-the-mill-drug-store brands, but cheaper than my usual Kerestase line...)
The difference was night and day. My hair today was super silky - just like when you walk out of a hair salon after a good cut and wash. No conditioner needed. Unfortunately, I used the last of it last night.

Teehee, I just love this....
I understand. I decided to go back to using less expensive shampoo to save but my hair doesn't get as tangled with the fancier shampoo I like. Alas.
I know what you mean about the orange- blond hair. That is what would happen to my hair too if it was bleached.
