#14 - Cats
Truth be told, I might like dogs more because I'm kinda allergic to cats. More specifically, I'm allergic to their saliva. So I can't pet them or have the fur anywhere near my face. I start to sneeze and itch and frantically search for the nearest antihistamine drug. I found this out when a friend had adopted two cats and playing with them made me miserable.
Scott, who used to own two cats of his own, said that cats *must* know which ones are allergic and zero in on them.
It certainly rings true for me. ^^;

You can overcome the allergy by staying around them for a long time. (That's how I did it!) Just smother them, and then wash out your red eyes!!! XD
I grew up with cats -- still allergic to them. In fact it's probably worse now because of infrequent exposure. :( My aunt has 7 cats -- she went through the shot regimen to build up immunity...
