Sleeping Undog ~ In The Wheel Well!
We went to Target today for our weekly shopping as we usually do.
While in the store, I started to feel ill. I decided to tell Audra
that I was going to go back to the car to sit down and see if I would
feel better. I'm usually pretty strong, but this past week I had been
out of work and sick with congestion. Today I felt kinda queezy.
took a deep breath and tried to relax. I started the car up and
blasted the AC. Something caught my attention in the corner of my eye.
I looked out the drivers side window and saw this:
It was a kitten sleeping in the front wheel well of a Toyota 4 Runner
that was parked next to me. For the longest time he was focused on
something INSIDE the trucks wheel well. He seemed kinda neurotic/
paranoid about whatever it was. When he finally calmed down, he
decided to take a break and before I knew it, he was passed out on the
wheel.
Audra came back and I showed the undog to her and we snapped the
photo. I sure hope that the cat woke up before the owner of the truck
came back and drove off! 0_0

Up here in PA that's not an uncommon site. Homeless kittens and dogs sleep on car/truck wheels, on or under engines to keep warm during the fall and winter months. I got into the habit of walking around my car in the morning and check the tires, then banging on my hood to make sure I scare them from the engine before I start it.
For some strange reason, cats love sleeping under cars. This is my first time actually seeing a cat, sleeping top of the tires. Cats are weird.
I've actually seen a cat sleep in the engine bay then realize the car is starting up and can't figure out how to get out!
omg, so you just left it there like that?
