Thanks for reading nemu*nemu! This is our first Sunday Special and it's something we hope to do more of in the future (should time allow!)
We are firm believers that almost nothing goes according to plan the first time around... and this is a double-dose of laughs!

Our first "Take Two!" is a parody of our original strip called "Little Shop of...". We pay tribute to CLAMP and xxxHOLiC. (Apologies to CLAMP and Kodansha LTD.! This is one of our favorite series to date!)

Our second alters the final panel in the "Magic Lamp" - It was my gut reaction after looking at the final panel without the text~ I'm sure it was some of yours too!

We had some other ideas... one of which came from a first-time reader asking if the old shop keeper was pulling his eyes out of storage in our premier strip! Ah~ next time!

Webcomic Transcription

TAKE TWO: Little Shop of...

Panel 1: (Kana and Anise peers into a strange shop...)

Kana: Wow!
Anise: Whoa!
Panel 2: (They look some more..)

Anise asks Kana: Have you ever seen a place like this before?
Panel 3: (They go closer to see what's in there. Anise finds something she likes~)

Anise: Kana! Check out that lamp! I bet it's magic!

Kana: Where? I don't see it!
Anise: Over there!! Over there!!
Panel 4: (As the two look on, two others come by)

Yuuko from xxxHoLic: Your arrival is Hitsuzen...

Anise and Kana (confused and shocked):!!!

TAKE TWO: Magic Lamp

Panel 1: (Kana bows in respect while Anise wanders around the shop)

Kana: Thank you for inviting us to your shop even though its closed sir.

Shop Owner: Oh its my pleasure! Feel free to look aroun- (he gets cut off by Anise)

Panel 2: (Anise is in awe looking at a lamp)

Anise: Look at this! Look at this! Kana! Kana! Look! Look! LOOK!
Panel 3: (Anise holds the lamp in the air and acts like she's worshipping it)

Anise: I-I-IT'S THE MAGIC LAMP!!!

Panel 4: (Anise drops it all of a sudden! Kana cannot hold in her anger and it's clear that Anise is probaly not the favorite right now.)

Anise: OH MI GAWD!!!!!!
Shop Owner: *ahem*
