Webcomic Transcription
Pineapple Burgers
Panel 1: A table with a plate with a deluxe Hamburger with a slice of grilled pineapple on the top of it.
Anise: *stare*
Panel 2: Kana is about to enjoy her Pineapple Burger at Wiki Wiki Coconut Tiki. She picks up the burger and talks to Anise.
Kana: Hey - Don't look too worried. This is my first try too!
Anise: Yeah - But you LIKE this weird Hawaiian food stuff.
Panel 3: Kana holds the Pineapple burger in both hands and happily talks to Anise.
Kana: Actually - Most local Hawaiians don't like pineapples cooked into their food. They're not even indigenous to Hawaii!
Panel 4: Anise is startled or maybe perturbed. Kana gets ready to take a bite out of the Pineapple burger.
Anise: ...So wait! Why are we doing this?
Kana: Because I know you don't like trying new things!

I have to say that this strip was inspired by none other than KS - who isn't too keen on trying new and "exotic" things without a fight. (or at least a grimace.) XD

Actually, that sounds kinda tasty. I wanna try that now.
Around here, they're called Island Burgers. And, depending on where you go, they're very good. Most of the time they're made like regular burgers, but have a slice of pineapple and teriaki sauce.

That's an insult! You guys don't even live in Honolulu Hawaii! Pinapples so delicius and sweet! I didn't try the burger but I know it'll taste good!
McGuire's has a pineapple burger. IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING I'VE EVER EATEN!! Succulent pinapple, 3/4 pounds of ground beef, and a mildly hot chili sauce, combined to create an amazing balance of flavor! Sweet! Robust! Spicy! AMAZING!
...but McGuire's will never convince me to try their krispy kreme burger....
