Panel 1: Anpan and Nemu are looking at the TV
Nemu: Anpan, how da TV turn on?
Panel 2: Anpan recalls how Anise turned the TV on.
Anpan: Hm, Ani click da remote...
Panel 3: Anpan grabs the remote control but cannot press the buttons. Nemu has an idea!
Anpan: Anpan cannot click, dis remote too tiny!
Panel 4: Nemu grabs a plunger and hands it to Anpan.
Nemu: Use dis to click!
Anpan: Whoa! Wat secret weapon ish dis?!

We Japanese sometimes use this. However, I don't know how you say it in English.
Incidentally, I've never used it.
In English it's called a "plunger" :)

the pups in the guest strip are a LOT bigger than them in the normal comic...
I mean, it wouldn't be too small for the small nemu and anpan.
