panel 1: Anise and Anpan head down to the theater.
Anise: ALRIGHT! We may have missed the premier– but we will NOT be missing the very first showing!
panel 2: She purchases her ticket...
Anise: One please.
panel 3: and she's elated that they're gonna go see the Henshin Rider movie! She can't wait!
Anise: YES! We got our ticket!
Attendant: Hrm.
panel 4: But the attendant stops her and tells her
Attendant: Excuse me. Dogs aren't allowed in the theater.
panel 5: Anise is shocked and blurts out
Anise: But this isn't a REAL DOG!
panel 6: Anpan can't believe Ani just said that! Anise can't either!
Anpan: WAT MEAN ANPAN NOT REAL?!
Attendant: Sorry. Rules are rules.

Anise: I hope you're happy now...
Anpan: ANPAN NOT FAKE!!

I think when it comes down to it, other people just see Anpan and Nemu as real dogs. Although it does make me wonder why the guard didn't react to Anpan's talking... Can anyone else other than Kana and Ani (and other animals) hear them when they speak?
He probably has a talking dog at home so he's used to that sort of thing.
He really doesn't even look that much like a dog anymore. The guard guy wasn't freaked out at all by Anpan talking? Anyway,on an unrelated note,I am officially addicted to Nemu*Nemu. I've been reading since #1 and I've already caught up.

It could be like a garfield situation where only certain people can hear anpan and nemu.
I would not be surprised if the next tale would be about the man and his sad history of conflict against talking dogs.
In fact, I would love to see that!
How's Anpan counted as a real dog? :/
