Keiki Fun Fest at the JCCH Aftermath

It was a long hot and semi-windy day at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii in Moiliili and for our very first non-anime related event, we had a great time!

JCCH Kodomo no Hi 2008 Aftermath

So, in short, we survived! It was a crazy hot day outdoors, but thankfully we had a tent to shelter us and a lot of icy cold bottled water on hand. The trade winds were also back, so it helped to push the vog hovering over the islands away. :D

Some familiar faces from Kawaii Kon stopped by our booth to say hello while others recognized us from our newspaper articles in the Advertiser and Star Bulletin. Others were online readers who met us for the first time at this event!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and encouraged us with such positive reactions! :D You really made our day!

My next island appearance will be at Le Jardin Academy in early May. Although! As I mentioned to some of the folks who stopped by today, we will be popping into local libraries around the State of Hawaii to do talks about webcomics! Once we get more details, we will be making official posts regarding dates, times, and locations! Stay tuned!
