[FFFA] Business as Usual?
Many many pardons for things being so quiet on the Kitsy-front! I've been away from my computer for the past couple days doing important business! :D
First off, all orders made up until yesterday have been processed and mailed! I also want to note that items have been quietly disappearing from our online shop - our Unisex Peanut Butter Pirates XL shirts are completely sold out and will not be restocked. A few other items are on the verge of disappearing as well, so if there's something you see on our site and are waffling over, I suggest you place your order before Sunday, May 11th. Most of our merchandise will be packed up and shipped off to California for Fanime! Again - no guarantees that items will be restocked!
Second! Wednesday kicked off one of many talks I will be doing over the course of this summer. This week, I was invited to speak to the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes of Ms. Amy Manso at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua!
The campus is right on the mountain-side, with a beautiful view of the valley and ocean below. Aside from the freak torrential rain that hit the school in unexpected bursts, the school is one of the most serene I've ever been to! It was an experience for me to drive out there (solo!) and back.
I had a great time talking to the students, who seemed very interested in the work I do - some even came during their lunch breaks to listen in. :D
