Mishter Snowman
It's time to unveil our East Oahu Sun exclusive strip for January: "Mishter Snowman"!
We don't have much snow here in Hawaii, save for very select locations (Mauna Loa/Mauna Kea on the Big Island), so we often have to make it ourselves! Shaved ice is pretty popular here. Most recognize it as the crunchy chunks of ground ice with syrup over it, but I really like the finely shaven powder that some of our favorite snack shops have. :D
