[Sketch] 2013.01.07

It's been a while since I've done studies of Roxy (a.k.a. "Sam"). Regardless of how dog-centric my comic may be, I've had very little experience prior to drawing dogs. ^^;;

Sam is a pretty popular character and drawing her hasn't been easy -- she's super floofy and mostly black. I can only guess what her body looks like under all that dark fur. ^^;

About 4 years ago, I did quick watercolor sketches while we were at a local dog park. Interestingly enough, those sketches still look good today! Now to just figure out how to have that same feel when I draw her in black and white.
