Wee wee weeeeeee!

Friday was the opening of the Crossing Cultures: The Art of Manga in Hawaii exhibit taking place at the Windward Community College Gallery 'Iolani! The exhibit will run throughout the month of September and will also be open during the Saturday events (Bon Dance & Ho'olaule'a) taking place on campus.

I may have missed the opening, but I was there on Sunday to participate in the first (of four) curator tours with Roy Chang. There are 3 more sessions this month:

* 9/15 - Stacey Hayashi (Journey of Heroes)
* 9/22 - Jordan Takemoto (editor/contributor Hachi Maru Hachi), Tara Tamayori (Hachi Maru Hachi), and Marisa Torigoe (The Children of ʻAumākua) (Tara & Marisa are not yet confirmed)
* 9/29 - Jon J. Murakami (Gordon Rider) and Kyunyo (Emperor's Seal)

All tours start on their respective Sunday's at 2pm! Go Go Go~!
