[Viewster Omakase Box] Open Naruto!
Time for something a little different~
Viewster contacted me a little earlier this month to see if I'd do an unboxing for the Omakase box they've recently released to compliment their online anime streaming service~
Their first Kill la Kill box was pretty awesome, so I said "sure" and soon enough, a box arrived in the mail.
Any guesses what's inside based on the icons? :3

If you guessed NARUTO, you would be correct!
Now, since I haven't watched Naruto since.. er.. 2004, right around the time Shippuden started nor have I caught up with the series since, I decided it'd be better if I didn't do a video this time around. ^^;
So, here's a look at what's inside the box:

Figures, stickers, knicknacks -- all official merchandise, endorsed by Shonen Jump and Viz Media. Some items are exclusive to the Omakase box line.
But first.. er. someone's missing:

Aha~~;;
The biggest item in the box, is by far this UFO catcher style Gaara plush.

And yes, he's judging the messiness of my workroom.
He's quite large and won't stand unassisted, so he's (literally) hanging around my room. :3
Next up, the Naruto & Hinata poster.

It's so large, I couldn't include it in my previous photo, so here it is, hanging on my door. The last time I saw these two, they were kids and Hinata's hair was much shorter... ^^;
I feel so old.
Next up, you can't be a ninja without the updated Allied Shinobi Forces Headband Sticker.

Attach it to your old headband plate or proudly stick it where you'll declare your allegiance. :3 Wherever that might be. (And the kanji says "shinobi", FYI.)
Next up, the chibi Deidara keychain.

I don't remember much about this character, to be honest.. but that's a pretty intense stare.
Next, the Naruto "Mininja" Gold figurine.

I'm pretty sure this is what you consider the "Collector's Item" from the box -- but you just can't tell from the way he's hidden in the box, all the great details that makes this figure so neat. It's a great sculpt and the face is faithfully replicated. He's also well balanced and stands nicely on his own.
Last, if this catalog card is to believed, this is a never-released figure of Orochimaru Sasuke from the Toynami.

He's highly poseable with removable ball-joints, but because of his "skirt", the movement of his legs are rather restricted. He comes with 2 pairs of hands, and 2 versions of his sword (drawn and sheathed)

I've been lucky to have this opportunty to check out a variety of crates from difference services and each service is looking to fulfill a specific niche.
I feel the Viewster Omakase box is ideal for the -fan- who'd like to indulge in their series-specific fandom.
While this Naruto box comes about 10 years too late for -me- as a -fan- of the series, but it's still highly enjoyable as it is. I don't treat them like collector's items, but like an activity box to occupy a few hours of my time so I can reminisce and indulge my weird self. XD

If you'd like to get an Omakase box for yourself - the next box [MIKU] is released at the end of March. Sign up using my link: http://hensh.in/omakase . The subscription is about $30 for 2 months with their premium streaming service AND one box mailed to you direct. :D
